I know the manga is drawn differently and most of the time, the story from the anime deviates slightly from the original story itself; in Shangri La's case, the light novels. Did anyone manage to read them? I'm not sure if there are other language translations for it though...maybe Taiwan might have a Chinese translated version.

Come in here and share your experience with the Japanese language.
I started it a long time ago at my own pace and didn't or rather couldn't afford to attend a school for it, so I had to pick it up on my own. It's an on and off thingy so I still have lots to go for the grammar and verbs ^^"

Do you find the children sacrificial and the ground breaking related ceremonies eerie? Have you heard of any other myths and wondered where they come from or begin?
